We each have stories…. Some stories are bodice-rippers, some are of trauma or drama, others are of survival…and a few are comedies.
The stories are rich with history, and are woven through the years with embellishments and twists and turns. These stories are creative. They reach out into the morphogenetic field and create our experience….
And so I ask you, what stories are you reinforcing?
What life experiences are you creating?
When we invest the time and focus to notice the thoughts that continue to cycle in our minds, we are empowered to stop those patterns from running our life. With practice, we can stop the monkey brain from reinforcing negative patterns, and we can replace non-supportive thoughts with mindfully creative new brain patterns.
The key is to begin to be aware of the thoughts that are in your mind as soon as you wake. Just notice. Are your first thoughts of the day self-loving or are they negative? Do they reinforce your self-worth, or do they reinforce a poor self-esteem?
If you want to change your life, start with you. Self-awareness of how your thoughts are creating your life conditions is the first step. Keep a journal of your thoughts for about a week, and see how they are in control of your life. There is a wealth of empowerment in the results of your personal study of you….
